Rainforest Trust is one of the world’s most respected and successful conservation charities, and works in partnership with trusted local NGOs and indigenous communities to save the world’s most threatened rainforests and tropical ecosystems. Rainforest Trust has been protecting rainforests for over 30 years and has already placed over 37 million acres of threatened habitat under permanent protection. All donations to the charity’s SAVES Challenge conservation projects are doubled by a generous supporter, meaning every pound donated will save twice as much rainforest for endangered species, indigenous communities and the climate. Rainforest Trust also guarantees that 100% of project donations are directed towards direct conservation action.

Deforestation and habitat loss is the number one cause of extinction and also responsible for a quarter of greenhouse gas emissions, so protecting tropical forests is critical to stemming biodiversity loss and climate change.

That’s why we support Rainforest Trust UK: to save endangered wildlife and protect our planet by creating rainforest reserves. The charity has set ambitious goals for the next five years and we plan to help make these goals happen.

🌎 Over the next five years Rainforest Trust aims to protect, or be in the process of protecting, 125 million acres of threatened rainforest, permanently locking in 15 billion tonnes of carbon.
🐯 Saving endangered species continues to be a vital part of the charity’s mission, and by 2025 they aim to provide a lasting home for half of all known threatened bird and mammal species.
👩🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏾 They also aim to reach half a billion people with their brand and mission, respecting, engaging and empowering people in all aspects of their work.
